A downloadable zine

The RPG Design Zine Two is a cut-and-paste 24-page zine. It's a sequel to the first RPG Design Zine, focusing on specific techniques and tools to consider as you make your tabletop rpg design vision a reality. You don't need the first one but it might help (and it's also free to download).

Like the first zine, I'm using text from my game library to map out what I consider to be the most fruitful, interesting and challenging ways to turn concepts into rules, guidelines and principles that achieve your design goals.

This download contains PDFs for screen reading, home printing and DIY booklet printing. It's available in print through my website for $5 (find that here) - if you'd like it in print and find that cover price a barrier, you can also request a free print copy from the zine library once they are available. All the details on that are here

The Pollockian curation of the RPG Design Zine Two serves to strategically overwhelm with plans of attack for future problems. Nathan's spectral sense of game design and design thinking show us the stream of consciousness and how to tap into his way of thinking. It's showing us the what, but taking a step back, Nathan shows us the how. Most notably, it's all coming from work within the artform.

The wall-to-wall curation shows that game design and experimental development is exciting, alive, and in conversation through the past and present.

Revisit this work often, because you will plot a route to new conclusions with each  read.
